The blade wobble alone will ruin every single cut you attempt, forcing you to sand down your mistakes or throw your materials in the trash.
I eventually boxed the cheap saw up, drove it back to the store, and bought a solid, mid-tier tool with a cast-aluminum base plate that actually stayed rigid.
It changed how every cut felt. The motor didn’t hesitate, the guide line stayed true, and the wood didn’t splinter. I learned the hard way that penny-pinching on machinery that spins at five thousand RPMs is a terrible strategy for home repairs.
If you are setting up a basic kit for home renovation, spend your money where the friction happens. Save on hand tools if you must, but never buy the cheapest power tool on the shelf just to save a few dollars on a weekend project.
